I see Jesus
I see Jesus………. Hebrews 2v9-10
9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. 10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
I see Jesus as ……
1. Our Resting Place:
In life we see ourselves confronted with issues, problems, oppositions and struggles – some we can explain why and some we had no explanation for, but they are real to us. It is during these turbulence period of our lives that we need to focus on Jesus. Matt. 11:28 Come unto Me all ye that labor and heavy laden and I will give you rest. Romans 8:31 If God be for us who can be against us? He is our resting place!

2. Our Reason of Hope
Every one of us – Christian and non-Christian will go through a dark night of the soul where deep doubts and fears flare up. However, a Christian’s definition of hope is far superior to that of the world. Instead of wishing or hoping for something to happen, a believer knows that their hope is a solid, concrete evidence because it is grounded in the Word of God and we know that God cannot lie (Heb 6:18; Num 23:19). John 16:33 says in the world ye shall have tribulation but be of good cheer… and 1 Peter 1:3-9 We have a lively hope…
3. Our Redeemer
It is amazing to know when the call was made in heaven for a saviour to redeem mankind from sin and death, Jesus willingly surrendered Himself to go and pay the price for our salvation- John 10:17-18. To pay the price of our redemption, our Lord was sorely beaten, rejected, mocked and above all, nailed to the cross between two terrible criminals. When all the righteous requirements of God for the salvation of mankind were completely fulfilled, He declared to heaven and earth, “It is finished”, after which He willingly let go of His life. Beloved, why look elsewhere for salvation when it has been fully paid for at Calvary? There is salvation in no one else but Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12).
4. Our Returning King
Jesus came the first time to give His life to become our Savior and His second coming (as the Old Testament prophets and the angels proclaimed) will be as a real King to set up the Kingdom of God!, as His government and peace will increase forever (Isaiah 9:7). Acts 1:11. In addition, 1Thessalonians 4:15 says when Christ returns, He won’t be alone. He will be accompanied by “thousands of his holy ones”—angels (Jude 14)—and by “those who have fallen asleep”. This also should be our focus. The Lord is coming. Are you ready? MARANATHA!
